Work is to be performed in San Diego with an estimated completion date of Aug. 21, 2012. U.S. Army Test & Evaluation Command, Mission Support Contracting Activity, Fort Hood, Texas, is the contracting activity (W9115U-08-D-0001).
August, 2009: Geodetics was awarded a contract by the Long Beach Gas and Oil Department to provide Real-Time Network software and services. The contract will enable City-wide elevation survey monitoring for up to 230 benchmarks and the generation of elevation change maps. The elevation change maps are included in the biannual Elevation Change Report to City Council. The information is also used to make adjustments to the oil-field water injection requirements and production limits.
July, 2009: Geodetics is sponsoring San Diego City Robotics to compete in AUVSI and ONR’s 12th annual autonomous underwater vehicle competition. In this competition, students build robots that navigate an underwater obstacle course without human intervention.

November, 2008: Geodetics awarded a contract as a subcontractor to supply centimeter-accurate GPS positioning solutions to precisely position automated detection equipment which scan shipping containers at megaports around the world. This contract is part of the Department of Homeland Security’s Container Security Initiative (CSI) and Secure Freight Initiative (SFI) which provides equipment, training and technical support to international partners through the National Nuclear Security Administration and Department of Energy to enhance the ability to deter, detect and interdict illicit trafficking of nuclear and other radioactive materials in the global maritime system.
